Our adventure begins with a workshop led by the talented and knowledgeable staff at the Fred Rogers Institute. This engaging session will offer unique insights into Fred Rogers' philosophy, creative process, and the profound impact of his work on children's media and education.

Following the workshop, we'll explore the captivating exhibits at the Fred Rogers Institute. These exhibits showcase Fred Rogers' life, his groundbreaking television show, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and the enduring principles of kindness, empathy, and understanding that he championed. You'll have the opportunity to see rare artifacts, watch memorable clips, and interact with multimedia displays that bring his world to life.

After immersing ourselves in the world of Fred Rogers, we'll head to the charming Latrobe Arts Center for a delightful lunch. The Arts Center, known for its warm atmosphere and vibrant local art, offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Our day continues with a special presentation from the Latrobe Historical Society. Here, we'll learn more about Fred Rogers' deep connections to his hometown of Latrobe. Discover how his upbringing and community shaped his values and vision, and hear stories that highlight his enduring legacy in the place he called home.
